Whilst
the following information is by no means a comprehensive guide (and,
in some cases contains duplicate information listed elsewhere on
this web site) it has been compiled from a list of most frequently
asked questions. If you have a general query that is not answered
on-line, please do not hesitate to contact us. A member of our team
will be happy to respond to your request. 
Office hours:
Normal office
hours are 0800-1800hrs, 7 days a week. Arrivals / deliveries outside these
hours can be handled but may be subject to an
"out-of-hours" charge. This will be confirmed at
the time of booking.
Documentation required:
A
valid driving licence (photocopies will not be accepted), passport, credit
card (unless agreed in advance, cash is not acceptable).
What you'll pay on arrival:
The agreed rental cost
An insurance and fuel deposit. In most cases this deposit
to cover the insurance excess and fuel will be "authorised"
on the clients credit card at the time of collection - authorisation lapses
upon safe return of the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
Rental period:
The minimum rental
period with our rental partners is one day.
The vehicles:
The vehicles supplied
are usually no more than 6 months old. BestCarRentals.co.uk can not
guarantee the availability of a specific make or model of vehicle – we
can only specify size / sample vehicles within a sample grouping. However,
in the event that the vehicle ordered is not available the customer will
be offered an upgrade
– free of charge.
How to reserve your car:
Simply

form.
Airport collection / return:
It is essential that BestCarRentals.co.uk is given full in-bound
arrival details (e.g.:flight number, arrival point, time and date, etc.)
when the reservation is confirmed. BestCarRentals.co.uk will not
be liable in the event that the customer omits any relevant information
resulting in problems or vehicle non availability. To reserve your car,
contact us today; we will advise you on the most suitable car for your
needs.
Delivery to a hotel or residential address:
It is essential that BestCarRentals.co.uk is given the full address
of the location to which the client wishes delivery of the vehicle including
a contact name and telephone number. The client must ensure that he / she
is available at the location to take delivery of the vehicle.
Cancellation:
A cancellation
fee (equivalent to one days rental charge plus any associated delivery charges)
will be levied on any cancellations less that 24 hours prior to the agreed
collection time.
Drivers - age:
Drivers must be between
the ages of 25 and 74 years with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
Drivers aged 25-27 are restricted to "Fun" vehicles, drivers aged
28-30 are restricted to "Fun"
vehicles and a limited number of "Executive" vehicles (e.g. BMW3,
Jaguar X Type, Mercedes C Class). Drivers of 30+ are unrestricted.
Insurance (CDW)**:
Included
in all BestCarRentals.co.uk quotations this insurance covers the customer
for damage to their hire car in the event of an accident.
Theft cover**:
Included in all BestCarRentals.co.uk quotations
this insurance covers the customer for the cost of the vehicle in the event
of theft.
** In all cases an insurance excess applies (maximum liability to the customer in the event of accident or theft)
What's included:
BestCarRentals.co.uk offer
totally inclusive rates with no more to pay on your arrival over and above
the price quoted.
This is our guarantee allowing you to budget for your holiday car rental well in advance. All BestCarRentals.co.uk car rentals include V.A.T., unlimited mileage, insurance (subject to any applicable insurance excess) and 24 hour breakdown cover. The insurance covers both collision damage (CDW) and theft of the vehicle.
What's not included:
- Personal accident insurance (available as an optional extra).
- Any applicable insurance excess. (which can be reduced to £500 for an additional cost of £10 per day)
- Petrol – a deposit is payable on fuel and is refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. Vehicles are rented on a "full-to-full" basis.
- Garaging, parking, traffic and speeding fines.
- Out of hours charges (if applicable).
- Child seats. These can be provided as an optional extra; please clarify your requirements at the time of booking your car rental.
- Cancellation charges.
